<x-charset iso-8859-1>Hey all, the 73 fastback I have has some problems and the distributor has a stripped points screw hole. First , is there any way to utilize the single vacuum distributor, I would say no but what do you all say? Second, I really don't want to replace the distributor and spend any money as I am trying to be rid of the car anyways. So can I replace the FI system with one that I have from a my brothers 71 type fasty. The 1971 system works perfect. I am throwing around ideas, I would only do this if I cant get the existing system working and it not running hinders the sale of the car. If any thing I would trade the 71 FI system, including a new bosch fuel pump I paid $300 for, for a good carburetor setup.
