Just saw the great new documentary on 70s California skateboard and surf culture "Dogtown and Z-Boys," which features stills of two nice late-60s Squarebacks--the only cars singled out for special treatment other than a few lowriders. A nice reminder that there was a time when Squarebacks were the favored mode of transportation for California surfers. The film makes it look like a Squareback is just about the coolest car on earth, which of course is old news to us.
