The seller writes that the interior is custom, and that the seat material
isn't original. It looks to me like the window winder handles aren't
original either. They should be the same as on a '67-'69 Type 34.

The car has obviously had a lot of plastic surgery.

Can you legally register a car with  German license plates in North
Carolina? Or would you put the proper plates back on once a year when it's
time to reregister it, like they do in England?
