I need to remember this > one. ;-) originally, it would not idle. it would idle really radically up and down from 100 rpm down to 500-600 rpm within a few seconds time. it would sometimes die because of it. when i turned on the windshield wipers or lights it would almost certainly kill it. i replace the voltage regulator because the readings i got from the old one (not original) were not quite up to par. this helped a little, so it may have been bad as well. but when i replaced the empi wire, 110% turn around. it idles like a champ, no more running rich either. its great now. however, i do have a loud knock at high rpm, just before a shift. it almost sounds like an exhaust leak, but very loud. i'll be sure to remember this one as well. ------------------------------------------------------------------- Unsubscribe? mailto:type3-request@vwtype3.org, Subject: unsubscribe
