RE: [T3] T3 pan

<x-charset iso-8859-1>Hmm.... I am getting the pan only, no beams, though I do have beams from
another IRS setup... The car is currently sitting on a stock pan, argh,
this is confusing. I will be tearing it all apart this Saturday and will
really learn what I'm dealing with.

Thanks for the info, I'm going to consult my Bentley a bit more.

Yeah , I have heard that the front mounts are different, I assume you are
staying with a manual tranny. The 1969 pan should have the IRS
suspension included , it was made for it.

If the pan came with the front beam/suspension assembly, you can
use the disc brake setup that came with it . You must use the
master cylinder that is made for the disc brake setup.

 If you wish to use
your old beam with front drums you will need to keep your old type master
cylinder. You may end up with a five bolt front drum setup and a
rear 4 bolt IRS, this may not be desireable, different rims and odd brake
setup.
You can still use your old beam but you may have to swap the arms and the
brake/spindle setup.

Can anyone out there please correct me if I am wrong ?
