1967 VW Squareback boinger@mailhost.net 312.463.4015 (days) 773.457.1070 (eves) new tires (Kumho) Porsche rims new battery new muffler (NOS German) Engine just tuned Rebuilt Carburetors Factory-option auxillary gas heater (Works GREAT!) New driver's door and deck seal Factory pop-out windows New glass seals (California style) Clean title Also: Used original glove box (exellent condition) Excellent condition original rear-view included New spark plugs New air-recirculation hose Clean oil-bath air filter oil New oil fill neck screen Owner's manual (Not original with the car, but correct) John Muir's "How To Keep Your Volkswagen Alive" (a.k.a. "The Idiot Book") Needs: Interior (PO stripped out the carpet, dash pad, rear panels and headliner) Generator (still diagnosing...it may end up needing a new one) Passenger "kick panel" repair (the interior wall of that channel has some rust) Some electrical work (PO went a little overboard with the de-wiring in preparation for some resto plan, apparently). All primary wiring is good and working, and seemingly all wires are there, just some are hanging disconnected. Not working: dome light, license plate light, front turn signals. Wipers are wired to a FLAPS switch. Ignition switch lives in the dash for some reason (??) Nothing that makes the car a danger to drive or anything - I've driven it hundreds of miles, much of it at night and it's a happy car. $3,000 (negotiable) ------------------------------------------------------------------- Too much? Digest! mailto:type3-d-request@vwtype3.org Subj=subscribe
