<x-charset iso-8859-1>I left Austin about 5 years ago. In the 4.5 years I lived there, I saw one Notchback. It was parked behind a shop with a bunch of other VW's. The shop owner thought it was worth $5,000 and wouldn't even consider taking less than that. He said it was the only one in town. The last 6 months before I left Austin I worked out at Austin VeeDubs, a VW and european car wrecking yard. There were only about 3 type 3's out there and they were all pretty stripped. I don't know what the scene is like there now since I've been away for a few years. I do know that Austin VeeDub is still in business though.
