<x-charset iso-8859-1>I believe 1990 Passat and Corrado introduced normal turnsignal indicator
lights to the US market, but since I haven't seen a working Dasher in years,
I don't remember if there were to arrows or a combined arrow for the TS
indicator.

I know for sure the Golf 4 and Jetta 4 (Bora) have separate indicators.

Actually, my '87 Quantum still has the single LED indicator, as did all my
A1's ('80 & '84's). IIRC, at least the early A2's still had it, too.
Hmmm...that doesn't mean they didn't try independent indicators earlier than
that, though.
