My stinger is ceramic coated w/a chrome-look application. It still looks brand new! The baffle inside of it is blued/oranged from the heat. My roommate coated his valve cover (chrome-look), exhaust header heat shield (chrome-look), header (black) and turbo downpipe (black) on his '98 Mitsubishi Eclipse -- looks awesome, clean, increases the turbo efficiency and, from what he says, reduced the underhood temp a little (personally, that engine generates so much heat I question that but I don't driver her every day like him so I could be wrong). Do the ceramic, it's good stuff and worth the cost! Kymco is a good choice. However, you want to make sure they coat the inside as well for maximum exhaust piping life and effect (heat retention) -- the internal coating looks plain grey on the exhausts I've seen. Otherwise the exhaust system will rust from the inside-out, especially where it bends.
