i just rebuilt my carbs and i'm trying to adjust them, but i can't get the idle to come down. as soon as i start the car, it zooms up to 2,000 rpm and it won't come down. when i tried to drive it, the power is just not there. it seems like it has better power at the 2000 rpm idle than when i try to push the gas. even if i turn the idle adjust screws all the way out, it doesn't bring the idle down at all. is it some huge vacuum leak i've got here? any other reason i wouldn't be able to bring the idle down? (assuming the rest of the engine is fine) thanks, Dan Hoopes '67 Square, "Stanley" Provo, UT _________________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
