My Vacuum advance works fine, and the dist. is both vacum and mech.
advance - I've opened it up and cleaned it .
I think I'll try retarding the timing a bit and see if it doesn't respond
better.

BTW, there is a thread going about 8mm stud torque spec's , It seems I
overtightened mine I troqured them to 22-24 ft lbs as for the 10mm studs, I
still haven't put any miles on the engine, should I drive it this way or try
loosen them first and torqure them to 18 lb ft. as mentioned?
