RE: [T3] rebuild issues

the heads are the CB performance 044 with 40 by 35.5 valves. i know these
aren't ideal for stock carbs and exhaust, but i've been told it will work.
cam is a 274 degree advance duration "cheater cam" from CB also. don't plan
on running more than 4,500 rpms, it's just for "spirited" daily driving. so
what do you think?

so, what i'm beginning to understand is that i should run closer to 7.0, and
any amount over that i go, i reduce engine life. is it kinda like
exchanging power for engine life? lets say i always use chevron supreme, at
what ratio do i start to reduce life most: 7.3, 7.5, 7.7? or is it just a
linear relationship?

i'm "only" 24, so i can't remember back *that* far, but i have seen the
numbers go down in my short time here on this earth. =)
