I was well aware of how pullers work, but it didn't stop me from ratcheting away! My puller, because of the lenghth of the center piece, required the 8mm bolts to be bolted in DEEP, just not <that> deep. I just wanted to warn of a potential goof, if at the expense of any credibility I may have had :-) It's nothing some J.B. Weld can't fix...
