Heres my 2 cents on the "mini maxi sump issue"

This is a bad invention , that can cause serious damage to your motor. Vw designed the motor to suck oil from the bottom of the case , and not suck it through a filter also . This can cause oil starvation ! I see that some have used this and not had over-heating problems and that is great for them. But i can tell you that the people who came up with the idea (CB performance) , will not recommed this at all anymore ( i dont even think it is in their catalog anymore) due to problems people had with them. Most reputable shops will not recommend this either. I would take it off and throw it away and run it as stock or get a real full-flow system installed in it.
