<x-charset iso-8859-1>> Hopefully your right, But ive seen these motors go fast when the light goes on as they start with so little oil to begin with, and with a slow leak and you lose the cooling of the oil quickly as it goes down, the heads get hot and when the light goes on your already starting with a hot engine. Hopefully it was a short trip home... if it starts without rumbling or banging on the first few seconds and stays that way for a few weeks thats a pretty good sign. keith > I suspect that her engine was still getting occasional oil, but not as much as > we would have liked.
