When I was in high school I lived way down south in Mexico . My best friend had one of these Bazilia's that is pictured, as mentioned in the original e-mail. He used to drive me to school for three years in his new Brazlia, it had airconditioning. The VW dealership had several rows of these. These cars were not uncommon then and not unusual to see in Mexico. In the big cities, one can see these unloved and rotting in the streets. I have seen some junkers occasionally down here in Tijuana where I live part time.
