Thanks for the advice everyone. Man, finding early T-3 or 181 rear drums is no easy task. I couldn't find them anywhere. I ended up getting some 4 lug T-3 drums. I'm going to use wheel adapters for the rail until I can afford disc brakes. BTW, I'm not using a T-3 motor anymore in the rail. My brother "found" a 4.0 l. V6 from a wrecked '94 Explorer. The only part on my rail that is T-3 anymore is the rear brakes and the transaxle. Hmm. Think that 4.0 would fit in the '68 square? -- Phillip Bradfield - Portland, Oregon Member: Rose City Volksters - http://members.nbci.com/rosecityvolk/ http://www.volkshaus.com T-3 front end for sale w/ disc brakes: email - phillip@volkshaus.com '63 Notchback w/ 68 pan - waiting for brake, electrical, and carb work: stock 1600 w/stock dual solex carbs '68 Squareback - waiting for '67 euro fenders and front clip: no motor yet '69 Squareback - chopped 3 1/2" with new 2.0l wheels: 1835 w/ dual 40mm Dellortos '??
