He's not wanting to lower his car per se. He's wanting to fix some unusually bad handling, and is wondering if lowering will fix it. A stock car with properly adjusted suspension and properly adjusted stock-sized tires will drive with confidence down any road. He's clearly got some thing mis-adjusted or broken, which would probably be best to get fixed before custom modifications are done.
