Absolutely!  I swore (told VW, Ford, GM, etc...and how much I make/education level) that I would not purchase any more gas powered cars -- not even hybrid.  They don't get my money.  I want full electric, so much so I am considering buying a body and converting it.  

You'll have to tell us where you put the batteries, if you keep the stock look, how it handles, what the charge time (110 vs 220), the range, the motor, and the total cost once it is all done.  

I hear the 914 is a good one since it has a trunk in front and an engine compartment in rear -- sounds just like our cars, but only 2 seater.
