Re: 68 Emissions Nightmare

I got the following message from my mechanic yesterday:

He did not mention he fiddled with the used but clean Pressure Sensor that
I put in the car.  All hoses are attached properly.  I had put a
different on in because the original had oil in it.  I failed to mention
in my original post that we are at 6000 feet here in Manitou Springs.

He is going to pursue the suggestions you have provided so far.  If there
is any other input it would be appreciated.

Finally, I was asked if I knew of anyone with a type3 and I do not.

First thing I would do after having 50psi pressure, is to Change the oil,
and take the car out and work it up completely before taking another
emission check.

If I remember right, it is around 40-45ms on time depending on the
temperature of the engine.
