Three notches doesn't match any of the Type 3 crank pulley markings. Do look at the timing URL to see which mark is which. I suspect you need 5 deg BTDC, but it depends on whether the distributor came with the carbs or the FI. The T engine is the twin carb one. There could be two vacuum hoses, so check the page for the right timing instructions.
