RE: [T3] Door seals conundrum

I am with Dave on this one. I would put the new seals on with a bit of contact cement , but only in a few spots around the seal. Just enough to hold it in place. You can also be careful to only put the adhesive on the "bottom" (if you are looking at the seal on the top of the door) of the seal. This way you can carefully slip a razor knife in and cut the adhesive when you need to remove the seal.

Alternatively, if you know what color you want the car to be, you could get a pint or quart mixed up and then just shoot the seal surfaces and inside of the door. Let your paint dry thoroughly and then install the seals permanently. When you get ready for the actually painting of the rest of the car just mask off the seals and inside of the door.

If you are going the MAACO route I would recommend that you mask the seals yourself. I would not trust them to keep all the paint from the seals.
