Hi Richard, The flares themselves are fiberglass, the fronts are attached to Day Mouldings fiberglass wings, but the rear wings are steel. I bought the arches from Ripspeed in north London, I think they were originally intended for Mk1 Ford Escort (1600 X-Flow?). I had to modify them quite a bit to get them fit the shape of the fasty. cheers, Dan '73 Fastback p.s. You're the first to ask :-) I'll add the details to my website. ---- -----Original Message----- From: Richard Green [mailto:rlgreen@industryinet.com] Sent: 26 June 2001 17:19 To: type3@vwtype3.org Cc: type3 @ vwtype3.org Subject: Re: Open Day Dan Are the wheel arches-flares steel or fiberglass? What car were they made for? I really like the color on it. These questions may have been asked before... If so I am sorry to be asking again.
