There is a large hex nut there that you remove, then pull out the outlet pipe. Under there you will find a "stack of washers" that you pull off. This "stack of washers" is actually gasket/flange/gasket, where the flange is a metal flange that the filter screen is attached to. You may have to pry a bit to get them loose, but if you have a new part in your hand it will be pretty clear what needs to happen. If you buy new parts, you might as well get new gaskets, too.
