Got waylaid by the 12 V business. Add a respray or a good T-cut and £200 or so for rubbers plus maybe £200 for good chrome bumpers when you can find them and you've got a car worth around £3000 or so in the UK. Looks like it depends on the paint state. Saveable or respray? There's a lot of cost in an 'as new' respray (£1500 to £2000 - ouch!). Make sure the solid body really is solid. Lift the back seat and look for rusting around the regulator and behind, plus similar the opposite side, and the lower seat belt mounts. There is a surprisingly large number with rust where they look sound - it very frequently comes unseen between the metal and the underseal. A solid body saves a lot of cost, so is worth much more than one to patch. Dave.
