Hang in there... When I bought my '63 NOTHING electrical worked. As I started scrutinizing wiring diagrams and really getting in there I found that every electrical function that didn't work had a different problem. It took a while and a few times I thought I'd never get it but in the end I got it all working. You will succeed, take it one fuse at a time.
