[T3] Things happen in (type) threes!

Well, first was a dented driver's door (RHD). That was just before Stanford
Hall VW event early May. It pushed out almost invisibly, and gave me the
incentive to grease and ease the window winder. Lovely smooth operation,
and the door cards are back where they should be, hooked over the armrest
support (for the first time since I bought it about 10 years ago).

Number two was the other day - stopped for fuel, and the filler flap knob
came off in my hands - rusted wire. Luckily near home with enough in the
tank to get there, and thankful I bought a new one cheaply a few years ago.

Third today, and a colleague reversed out of a parking place, leaving the
rear left wing (fender) with a gouge. Ever so apologetic - lucky it wasn't
a public car park or I'd have been left to discover it for myself. It's
Bristol Volksfest on Sunday, so I guess I know what I'm doing this
Saturday - again! Probably a little patch-up job for the moment until I
can do it properly.

Still, as I mused on the way home, if the damage is simply on a removable
bit, it can't be fatal for the car.
