It's always a good idea to make an effort to find a good automotive machine shop in your area who can do this work for you. It is not that expensive, and it is less expensive than new heads, because I think all the stock heads now come without the correct 3-angle cut valve seat. You CAN just install these and drive off, but they really should have a proper valve job before you start. I remove and install my own guides, but I've invested some time, money and effort in putting together the right tools to do this.
