I am in need of a 6-volt gear to fit the Kymco Torquemeister. They only cost about $25. But Kymco has a 6-week waiting time on them. I would be happy to pay the $25 as a deposit until I return the 6-volt gear in about one day. The 6-volt gear is different from a 12-volt gear. There are fewer (or greater?) number of teeth on a 6-volt flywheel. I need to tighten the flywheel to 253 ft-lb of torque. I can't get there with the 12-volt gear. That's why they make the 6-volt gear. The Torquemeister multiplies the torque by 9 times so as to get the 253 ft-lb of torque. I know that I could use a torque wrench, but am not sure I am strong enough to put up 253 ft-lb. The flywheel must be tightened to 253 ft-lb to avoid it flying off. I have ordered one of the 6-volt gears for delivery 6 weeks down the road. But that doesn't help my current needs. I need to tighten the flywheel and start the engine.
