Corey,

If your clock is consistently fast, it may be as simple as taking it out of
the dash and adjusting the tiny screw on the back. You have to be patient
with this procedure, as it may take a month to get it right, but maybe only
a few days to get it close. Keep a good record of your adjustments, and try
to do them at a consistent interval, say, every six hours, to keep it all
less confusing. The smallest of adjustments seem to make a huge change.
When you start out, don't turn that screw more than an eighth of a turn at a
time, to make sure you are going the right way and so you don't break it. I
can't stress the patience thing enough on this.

As for the "somewhere between 8 hours and 2 hours behind" I have a feeling
your clock is playing mind tricks on you and instead of being two hours
behind, it is actually 10 hours fast.

Good luck,
