That was policy around here, too, until recently. It may be a matter of
local fuel formulations and weather, but the braided stuff isn't working
like it should in Arizona. Early internal cracks and failures are happening
all over, so much so that we've abandoned the braided hose in favor of
normal, high-quality FI hose for carbed cars as well as FI..
