 I tried the fancase outlets blocked and 3 days later lost a head (it was
mid summer).
It seems the blocking of the outlets obstructs the flow to the case.
or, you get more cooling on one side of the heads and more heat the other -
perfect for deforming them.
I'd say stock , with the heaters (I guess you mean elbows) or do you mean
heater vents open ?
You don't have to have the heater vents open.
