I don't think they can get a good match (color) just by giving the the paint code. Thats because of fadeing of the paint (original or respray) , the best solution would be to polish a part that is on the car and have them put a merlin machine (or something simular) on it to read the color thats currently on it,and have them mix it up from there to get a better match.
