Anyone try to use a non stock shifter on the auto tranny? My "new" 69 fasty is missing the gear indicator on the floor. I think this is a chrome cover with the P-R-N-3-2-1 on it. I haven't looked yet, but I would guess this shifter uses a tube for the shift rod. Would a cable shift work from a modern car or aftermarket shifter like a B&M work. This car will be driven by my wife and daughter sometimes and they would have a problem with out the gear indicator. Thanks Richard 69 fasty - no name yet.
