[T3] welding: body rustoration and fabrication

I lost some of my old emails o i need to re-ask my question.
i wanna buy good welder so that i can do my own rustoration and fabrication
for my fastback.
I understand taht i wanna get a mig welder but that i need one that can be
adjusted to work with our thin body panels. i've been looking at a few
online like from lincoln and Miller. the millers are way to expensive for me
so. The specs talk about using .023" -.035" gas or .035" gassless flux
wire. what size wire would the welder i get need to be able to handle. Also
what kind of amp range do i need so that i don't get one that turn down far
enough so that i don't burn holes into my car. I've never welder before but
now is teh best time to learn.

repairs that i want to to do:
wheel well arch
i'm missing the section under teh fender drain in my left rear fender
plus a few mods like a rear wing, fire wall to put in a upright (sorry
purists) and the needed louvers or other cutouts for added cooling air
filling trim holes
grafting in early bug headlights
and other custom metal work
