So this means that the inner body panels would have to be different. 
Or were they already different, without window spaces? Smooth, or 
bent/corrigated for strength?

It's just hard to believe that they would have gone to the MUCH 
greater expense of making up completely different dies for these very 
large pieces (hence very expensive dies) when the production numbers 
were so low.

John J.: How many parts can they expect to get out of one set of 
steel dies? I know you've told me this before; I just don't remember.
