[T3] Nadine is running again! Woo hoo!

<x-charset iso-8859-1>Tonight is the first night in over two months that Nadine is running since I
decided to rebuild the engine.

I broke in the engine for 3 minutes at 3,000 RPMs, let her idle a little
bit, checked her for hesitation (little to none), and she's purrrring away.
And that's BEFORE I even synch the carbs and fine tune the timing/dwell.

Man, oh, man! I am so excited!

Quick recap on the rebuild:

* Align-bore checked the case
* Reground cam and crank
* New cylinders, pistons, seals, bearings, lifters, rings, gaskts, push-rod
tubes, and Quiet-Pack exhaust.
* New distributor cap, rotor, plugs, wires, fuel filter and oil strainer.
* New (used) heat exchangers (I will have a heater again, too)
* Hot dipped the heads, recently rebuilt, still in really good condition,
but needed head-to-cylinder shims
* Rebuilt dual carbs (Solex 32 PDSITs)
* Used existing rods (end-play okay), late model .009 and oil cooler
(cleaned thoroughly inside)

That's the jist of it. All it took was two squirts of gas into each carb to
prime it and a few seconds for the fuel bowls to fill up. VRRROOOOM!
VRROOOOOMMMMM!

Thank you guys for all your help along with way. Especially Jim, Dave,
Keith, Toby, Bryan, Everett and Clint. Hope I didn't leave anybody out. If
so, I apologize. I promise to post pics soon of the new engine.

Jason
68 Notch (Nadine)
