this method is hit and miss unless you have a good ear and can tell the
diference,s in the sucking noises. and as the haynes manual says you will be
overtaken by mopeds if you get them out.
you could make a sync meter quite easy with a clear biro and a small
plastic ball and a can with holes in the top that you could put tape on if
required .
