As I have tried to learn the Audi crowd on the other mailing list, what the Americans lovingly refer to as a city light is one way of incorporating the parking light on European cars! Japanese manufacturers love to have separate parkig lights, often on the same housing as the turn signal, but still with white light. My 73 has parking lights in the headlights, and these are not city lights!! My 92 Audi has them as separate vertical "bars" on the outer edge of the headlight. Most German cars have the 4w bulb in the headlight reflector. For some unknown reason, this ticks me off.
