It was a nice day today so I thought I would work on mending my horn. I took off the ring on the wheel and rubbed it all down with wire wool (at the same time I mended the CD player so I could play Steppenwolf). It still didn't work so I started wandering around with the voltmeter. The horn ring is working fine. I hooked the voltmeter onto the horn wires themselves. It took a wee bit of arranging so I could press the ring and see the meter (remember guys, it's RHD) but the ends of the wires are hot when the ring is pressed. So it looks like I might need a new horn.
