I suggest that it really didn't solve anything. Your experience is not unique, however. Everyone tries this some time or another and eventually comes back to the same conclusion. > Now I try and fix an intermittent missing that developed after running > injector cleaner though my system Ð pulled the injectors to blow out, > Runs much better does not act the same. If these are genuine Bosch the black ones are the originals from 68- 9; the yellow ones superceeded them. I don't like to see them mixed, but I'm surprised that they seemed to measure the same. I had been led to believe that the yellow ones ran slightly richer. If any of them are not OEM Bosch, I would replace them. > Timing has been set to a slight advance - always has to help offset > the original hesitation. Careful here, this can lead to too much advance which is hard on the engine. > The rebuilt engine was bored at the ever so slightly larger size - > told I would see a tad bit of more power on the Hwy. (don't > remember the size) The size is important. You should check the fuel pressure and set it to 30 psi x (D/1600) where D is your new engine displacement which you can calculate once you check your rebuild records. Have you done a compression test?
