what is a good way to remove the glass and frame part from the vent wing assembly? i was trying to put on my new vent wing seal today and figured out that the only other way to get the seal around the pivot rod would be to cut it. i know there has to be a better way than just pulling the rivet apart than using pliers. is there a tool made for this, and how much would something like that cost? could the same tool be used to put in a new rivet? i'm sure this seal wears out and needs to be replaced like most so many of you have replaced it. did you cut the seal or try to take the assembly apart, and how did you do it? ------------------------------------------------------------------- List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list or mailto:help@vwtype3.org
