I picked up a front Type 3 bumper with very good chrome and deluxe rubber and two mounting bars for £40. From the Stanfoird hall show. Its going to be my 'Show only bumper', I have a reasonable front for normal everyday use.... Mark No; Type 3 and 4 rears (from '70 model Type 3s, and all Type 4) are the same (and they are used on the later KGs, sadly). Fronts from '72 model Type 3s are used on KGs; these have a cut away rear edge to clear the KG body. Incidentally, they use the same bumper rubbers as the rears, but the straight rear-edge fronts need a longer rubber. The best you can do is polish and wax the chrome, or re-chrome (£100 is a target price for that - each!). A bit of aluminium paint will hide the spots. Volksheaven had a good rear bumper from the USA for £60 at Stanford Hall. Dave.
