You'll have fun with the heater channel; and it's not just for heat, it's seriously structural. I know a guy who folded up another from sheet and fitted it - had garage premises though! It can be done. On parts, take a look at the partÌÖW´ hangeability site on my website. Some other VW parts fit (are the same part), but you won't find much in the body area that's the same. Dave.
