I took Phillip and Maddy for a drive to check out a '66 Fasty listed in the paper for $3950 "all original". Turns out it is the fasty that we discussed on the list several months agoKñzô I first saw it one year ago at a VW show it had been sold and now has 97,000 miles. Although Ginger wants a '66 Fasty, we can't afford it right now so here are the particulars for those who can. Located in W. Portland. Waiting for a better offer than $3100, but must sell before moving. "Rebuilt motor" has serial # Txxxxxx, which is correct(?). Nothing else changed from original as far as he knows or I could tell. Original white, two dents at the corners. Both trunk liners look great, the front might never have been opened before (tool puch even)! The red interior includes, seats, carpet, panels, armrests/handles, dash, steering wheel, turn lever, and steering column. Small crack in the dash, slightly faded seat covers, tear in drivers armrest, hole in drivers carpet. No rust at all that I could see (I looked before I knocked on the door!).
