Make sure it's a genuine VW one at that price. What's the inlet manifold in the deal, Charlie? Is the engine from the '62 pan, single carb etc? Dave. The gods must have been smiling on my though, because when I phoned Type 3 Detectives, they said I could have a NOS (still boxed) complete exhaust system and a new intake manifold for £200. Apparently the exhaust is part of a container load of parts being brought from a dealership in Norway. I am feeling blessed!
