[T3] Suggestions for shocks....

I need to replace my shocks.

I went to the local Carquest and asked abéàÄWoe's. I have a '64 notch
and since Keith said he just put a set on his notch I figured I was safe.
Well the set they gave me was listed to cover Squareback/Fastback, pretty
much through the sixties. Needless to say they didn't fit.

When I say they didn't fit I mean the metal sleeve on the end of the shock
was too long and covered the entire bolt. The counter geek suggested
knocking the sleeve out and using it like that but that idea just didn't
sit right so I returned them.

So anyway, long story for a short question....

What shock could someone recommend for an early notch? ('64 1500 N)

If you have the part number as well as a brand name that would really help.
I hate using the parts manual and trying to guess at which one might fit.

I'm not looking for high-end, high performance. It's stock and all I need
is a shock that is close to stock.
