Anyone can help me out? There's hardly any current there, so don't worry about it too much. AWG 20 is probably fine. You might want to ask yourself if your rear defroster still works. Most of them do not, so it is not worth fixing their wiring. Most important would be to find out WHY the wiring got fried.
