Fair point.  I guess it depends on the market that exists for them.  I
doubt there is a big market since it is so easy to lower it with the spline
adjustment.  I'd reckon that moâœýée people who do lower their Type 3s
are more concerned with looks per dollar than handling.
I don't know if the Beetle drop spindles fit the Type 3, even the one with
the same callipers and discs (as most 1500/1600 Beetles apart from US, and
the Ghias in US too).
Anyone got a Beetle microfiche or Parts book?
