I ran my simulator program for dyno outputs, and adding more valve lift doesn't make any more power or torque. One problem I am aware of is binding the valve springs, the stock springs can't take much more lift. Another is increased valve guide wear, and adjuster screw and valve tip wear. If one went to roller tip rockers with the adjusters on the pushrod end like SCAT or someone used to make that wouldn't be a problem. The stock rocker arms are hard to improve on for the money.
